The 1st shoot of JUSTPROUD Fashion

Last Sunday we picked up the winners from the airport; Vanessa (model) & Daniel (designer) both flew in from the USA. After having a coffee we went to the hotel; There the crew had gathered and after lunch we directly started shoot the new movie for JUSTPROUD. It was amazing how these two winners managed to overcome their jetlag and spread the room with amazing energy; the result will definitely show.

 The winner of the photographers contest, Bonnie Strange, was picked up some later because of a train delay (she came from Paris, France & her assistant, Agnieszka, came from Dusseldorf Germany). Zuzanna, the runner up from London, UK, was picked up from the airport after a delay as well; but finally everybody was together for a nice “get to know each other” diner.
After diner the designs were showed and after ‘some’ drinks we all went to bed.

The whole team had breakfast at 07:30 and we went to the location at 09:00; there we shot several sets, which we will reveal when the new site goes live. Besides the photo shoots, the whole day was filmed as well, to have good footage for the next commercials. In the afternoon the winners were interviewed, in between the sets, also soon to be seen at the new site. After this long day (but very much ahead of planning) we all had dinner together and went to bed around midnight.

Breakfast again at 07:30 and amazingly enough everybody was on time & ready to shoot for the third day; In the JUSTPROUD office we shot in white background & on the set Daniel created a new way of using T-shirts (you will see).

Interview

In our original planning we saved time for a whole day shooting (and even a backup day in case the result wasn’t too good yet) but at lunch we were finished & very enthusiastic about the result; So in the afternoon Vanessa & Daniel went sightseeing and Bonnie & Agnieszka spent time in our office creating a new way of activating our members; we were very pleased with this input & we will show you soon at our new site what they came up with.

In the evening we had our farewell dinner, because in the morning Vanessa & Daniel would go to Amsterdam & in the evening Bonnie would go to Paris back again & Agnieszka to Dusseldorf. This time we went to bed a little earlier.

At Wednesday everybody could sleep in a little bit because we had breakfast at 08:30. Vanessa & Daniel went to Amsterdam and Bonnie & Agnieszka went to our office to finish their creative project & do a photo shoot with it in the afternoon. I can tell you the result is amazing!

The first shoot of JUSTPROUD upcoming week

This Sunday all winners of the contests will arrive in Holland (Europe) to create the 1st shoot of JUSTPROUD. We arranged 3 days of shooting different photosets sets & movies; also the winners will be interviewed.

We are very excited to meet all winners in person and create some amazing creative images together with them. We will update you via our Facebook page.
The designs are in, the location of the shoot is determined, the hotel rooms are booked so now it’s only waiting for everybody to fly in from all over the world.

Because this is the first time, it took some time to arrange everything; the effort went from getting the designs in from the USA, to doing grocery shopping up to buying a reflectorset. But the most effort went in creating a nice make-up artist mirror. You will see the result in the first pictures & movies.

1st shoot of JUSTPROUD, new site & ambassadors

The week after next (starting Feb21st) we will have our first shoot of the first JUSTPROUD collection with our first Face. With Bonnie winning our last contest, we completed our team for the first shoot. Vanessa, our 1st Face, Daniel, our 1st Designer & Bonnie, our 1st photographer; we will make some amazing work, with a lot of first in these paragraph :-)

We are busy with preparing the shoot; the winners are invited to Holland where we will have 2 camera teams ready to capture these moments for you. Besides the winners we tried to get the runners up involved as well; with the photographers that was impossible because of meeting deadlines (we are also creating our new site :-), the designers we asked to design a “founding member Tshirt” – the winner of this will be displayed early March on the site; & with the models we ask the 3 runners up to participate in the shoot as well; 2 models finally couldn’t participate because they couldn’t or didn’t provide us with the information we needed.

In general it took us more time & effort to arrange everything with these contests then we originally planned for, but the result will be great!

New site
On the new site we had some setbacks in performance & timing, which we almost cleared by now. We have to say that it will be a cool site & everybody will be rewarded for waiting a little longer then intended. Early March we expect to go live with the Beta-version.

My name is Aysha. I am 20 years old, and live in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I love the fashion world, and hope to be an inspiration to people one day. I have done some modeling, as well as acting, and I am hoping to get back into that very soon! I am in the process of getting my license for Wedding Planning, and after that, I hope to start my own business, as well as design wedding dresses! Along with fashion, I am also interested in photography. It has been a hobby of mine for a while, so I will see where that takes me as well!

I'm 32 years old and working at the fashion field only 2. I graduated last year in the course of Fashion Marketing and only after my course finish that i finally found myself at the field. Currently working as Style Assistant at a clothes factory. I'm responsible for the purchasing of tissues department, contacting the customers and recently started at the designing process and including designing my first models.
I'm starting at the career, but I'm very dedicated to what I do, especially when I love my job. I love the career I've chose and I hope to do a good job for JUSTPROUD.

I'm a 23 yr old aspiring artist who developed a love for fashion and music at an early age. I enjoy designing pieces inspired by various musical instruments and songs, and also enjoy staying fit, writing, and helping to inform others about human trafficking. I am also very much involved in cross-stitching, acting, baking, and listening to music from lesser known artists in the singer/songwriter genres.

Bonnie Strange is the winner of our Photographers contest!

Today we can announce that Bonnie Strange is the winner of the 1st photographers contest of JUSTPROUD. She will be one of the 1st photographers of our campaign, after she will officially accept the prize of course. We are very happy that Bonnie will add her creativity to our Brand & are looking forward cooperating with her. In March the outcome of the campaign will be visible within the next release of our site JUSTPROUD.com. Probably this will be a final stepping stone for Bonnie & for JUSTPROUD the opportunity to show their first collection with this great photographer.

The runners up are André Smirnoff (Brazil), Kerry Brooks (UK), Ellie VdB (Belgium) and Michael Carty (Canada). Due to some setbacks in timing we only can give you the non verified selection of the runners up;

We created & managed this contest with the biggest care & enthusiasm & want to thank all participants & supporting members for their effort. As you all understand we cannot communicate in person or on the site on detailed aspects (as written in the contest rules).
We are now creating the next release site on which many, many contest will be, so that all participants then can be involved in 1 or 2 shoots.

Upcoming photo shoot
We are working hard to arrange all things for the upcoming photo shoot. We will fly in all winners of the contests on Feb 20st and will shoot for several days. 2 camera teams will ensure that you will be witness of this event as well. The idea is to shoot 2 commercials, some image shots & the obvious product shots.
Vanessa (our first Face), Daniel (our Designer) & the winner of the photographers contest will be interviewed as well;

Production & supply chain
After intensive research, meetings & try outs we have finally selected our suppliers. Our current suppliers will enable us to produce both 1 piece up to 40.000 pieces per item & are able to process all different fabrics and materials; so we are prepared for the near future to facilitate the production.
This week we will have the last meetings concerning supply chain management; this varies from order picking, warehousing up to delivery.

Website development
We are entering the last stage of our website development; we expect to have the BETA version live within 3 weeks. On the further development we decided to make 1 local site in which we can rapidly adjust with new features so we can adept that in the major site once proven successful. We will keep you up to date on this.
